The Boy & The Filberts

Long long ago, once a young boy was given permission to put his hand in a jar to take some hazelnuts. But he took a fistful that he could not draw his hand out again.

He stood there for hours, unwilling to give up a single filbert and yet unable to get them all at once. Irritated and disappointed, he began to cry.

The boy and the filberts:

“My boy”, said the father, “ be satisfied with half of the nuts you have taken and will easily get your hand out. Then perhaps you may have some more filberts some other time.”

Do not attempt too much at once.

This story is universal and applies to most of our day-to-day activities. However, it fits perfectly when it comes to wealth creation.
